I hope you are joking right?

The media is a HUGE mess. I remember when they confused the Model X for the affordable car and wondered why the signature/founder Model X was selling more than the base Model S. They get more and more clueless by the day.
Tesla never got any government grants. The loss of the tax credit will easily be offset by economies of scale. The low 30s is also more than enough of a market which includes millions of cars. But they will most likely hit in the low 20s with their Gen 4 cars in the 2020s I would estimate and they should have 300…
Not going to happen, even if it did, they will never use it. They already have the ability to shut down any OnStar car via highway chases and guess what? Never use it. If you don’t chase, you don’t make the news. And the highway patrol loves a good chase.
That is why there is something called REDUNDANCY.
I understand what you are talking about just fine, and you are being a luddite.
Summons should only be used on private property, and for now Tesla has a 39ft limit. Though there is a way to get around that limit.
And why do you assume that?
It does not need to be perfect, just more reliable than you.
The auto pilot feature clocks what? Like a million miles per day? So far no accidents.
I have, and I have also seen plenty of people crash cars.
Not really. Accessing the API does not grant you anything more than basic pre-programmed features. Those features are useless for hacking a car. And are useless for criminal or terrorist attacks.
The car is far more cautious than you are and has sensors where you can’t see mr. troll. If you so far managed not to hit a child despite all those scenarios you could not predict, the car will be just fine.
Most definitely doable, here is a start:
Will that situation happen before or after the unicorns?
Sure, there is no 100% secure system. But while they are at it they can also hack your electric company or gas company and shut you off.
The summons is limited to 1 mph and has plenty of sensors. That would require quite the effort and negligence.
Nice car, ugly watch.
No, because the roof rack mount goes in the top area in between. If the car gets rolled over the roof rack will be crushed or fly off, leaving the doors to open just fine.
Tesla builds mass quantities. Not as much as some other OEMs but by the end of this year they will produce more cars total than Ferrari (in its entire existence).
