Wow. It was nice for the character to have a fun moment at the time, but does this ever show just how wildly off the showrunners were from reality at that point/mailing it in. Their main breakout character had an entirely different conception of the role she was playing!

This had one of the best returns for low-investment, high-enjoyment of any of the pandemic time shows for me & friends. Very glad to see it get a second shot. Had a nice side effect of Strong getting even more singing features on SNL too. 

I was full of snark and cynicism about the cast getting old for the season, and then that scene happened. 

The comparison that popped in my head - especially given the length of time between charting - was Bohemian Rhapsody in Wayne’s World.

I don’t know, when a diverse a groups as Prince, Outkast and Johnny Rotten have all put you in a pantheon you must be doing something right.
