I buy the no supplies aspect a bit- look at how cavalier he was with the water, not to mention the meet itself. But 30 miles of bumpy dirt road in that thing! I was positive that car was going to break down before he got to the cash.

You’re right, but there’s also time for some separation to occur between them, too. And Mike’s disgust at Jimmy for his complicity in forcing Kim into the game could be the wedge to do that, especially if (please, please no) something awful happens to Kim down the line. Perhaps even at Mike’s hands/Gus’ involvement.
The rugged line was a perfectly absurd touch.
Said the same thing on the earlier article about his hospitalization. I’m fucking crushed. That album really shone from his effort, even up to a breakup with Collingwood feeling the band wasn’t fully his after climbing out of addiction. Adam did a great job with composition on it. Played it a few times this morning.…
Because the mediocre shows are often comfort food, especially when they revolve around the same small cast for their entire run. The highlights can be good, even if there are plenty of blah episodes like ST:TNG. Didn’t hurt that a good chunk of HIMYM’s stars were loved going into the show either, or that network TV…
I deeply love ‘Sky Full of Holes’ and it made my best-of list for the past decade. It has great themes and maturing songwriting, and was a wonderful listen as each year got me closer to the 40. Had the pleasure of seeing them tour for it, where ‘A Road Song’ got the Wisconsin crowd happy as hell.
I’m happy to have a Sorkin West Wing, even if it looks more and more bizarre during the current presidency. But it does seem to demand a show in response from someone like Simon - that I agree with and would love to see.
On the opposite end, time has seemed to cast season 2 in a far better light, year by year. I think it is my favorite now.
That would have been neat (or possibly quite bad I suppose), but the tracks are from other artists. The youtube page has a nice timestamped list with good attribution.
Tried it this morning and now the entire extended family is planning to share their versions of it in our group thread.
That opening absolutely wrecked me.
I'm delighted to hear this. Serious bonding with my sci-fi obsessed Dad over this game, we loved how moody it was. Also helped that the original was one of the few games I could get to run on his beloved OS/2 system.
We needed something to balance out the giant bowls of scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes! And the ‘salads’ definitely weren’t cutting it.
Kevin! Awesome to see your byline again! I will try this. I finally made your bookmarked honey garlic beef last month, it was delicious and easy to follow, thank you.
Fair and appropriate, and something that many HR groups would have viewed as work week hours anyways. I hope this isn’t a needed shot across the bow at certain herbalists who could be leaning towards the opposing viewpoint.
Just picked up the original on Game Pass a week or so ago, and the feeling of elation after suddenly- and quite unexpectedly- making it through that was powerful.
I had somehow gone without knowing about their inclusion, only to be spoiled by AMC using a still shot of 8's jail interview for the 3rd episode header. D’oh!
Let’s just say that I was very, very relieved when the fryer was shown to be empty of hot oil.
Thought the same thing. This may be what finally lets me send my ‘08 to the great beyond. Though I’ll miss having manual terribly.
