Love Shea Whigham, was first introduced to him in Boardwalk Empire. Much of that show was stronger than the general reception it earned, and even when it fell short the acting and production quality still made it a worthy watch. Tough road to make with BB and Mad Men dominating that stretch!
I don’t know why, but the ‘sent from Verizon Motorola Droid’ one absolutely slayed me.
Watched Big and A League of Their Own endlessly growing up, had no idea then that it was a Milwaukee legend as the director. Sad to hear this.
That line really got me to. And remember, Dushku may not be an a-lister, but she certainly isn't without power or the financial flexibility to make tough choices. If Weatherly and the production team initiated and allowed that level around her it's guaranteed there was even worse going on.
Yeah, the 'so and so was going along with it at the time' has been a pretty consistent part of workplace harassment training for years. Color me shocked that a long term CBS star had no concept of such a thing.
I agree that brutal is a loaded word, but that (presumably intoxicated) woman only has to fall with her head angled incorrectly into the hallway wall for it to match.
Have one ten years on with a stick. Got me all over camping and forest roads. Took a bruising but I still love it.
Aaron tonight: Best birthday EVER!
FRANK THE TANK!!! Doesn’t even crack a smile.
That was the hardest game to understand as a fan. On one had, McCarthy had a great gameplan and finally found some answers to Carroll owning him. On the other...those FGs, letting the Seahawks stay in it, Bostick coaching..
I think it’s totally possible that humans are irrational and do shit that they can’t even recall having a good reason for. Does Rodgers really want to tank and waste a year as he gets older? Probably not. Is he going through the motions and letting it the situation impact his play, despite not wanting to give up?…
Same! My first reaction was ‘she is going to bring us some great Sci-Fi’. I’m excited to see what projects she champions.
I never understand that; mourn the officer and for his family of course. But that’s also his duty. Isn’t the loss of an innocent or a victim the bigger tragedy?
LOD on NHL94 was all it took for me
This is a good take. It’s easy to enjoy the movie for what it is, and Malek’s amazing performance, and just how your feet don’t start tapping for the entire running time.
Been a Flyers fan for life living nowhere near Philadelphia, and for the first time ever my fandom has been received warmly. Gritty you savior!
Been reading many accounts of brush and forest firefighters over the past couple days. These are people that fly to wherever the hot spots are in the country to fight wildfires. Without fail they all mention that PG&E is notorious for being the worst in the nation at clearing lines of trees or tinder.
Hooray, I’m not alone! Enjoying them becomes far easier when you’re not fanboy attached to any sacred points (kinda wish I could have seen TLJ in that light). Couple beautiful films that have SF genre merits on their own.
