Combat really isn’t like Fire Emblem at all.

Jadeveon Meowney

Nah

It definitely is. It’s more noticeable in teams other than Costa Rica, though, as they’ve always had decent soccer infrastructure due to relative wealth.

My top 15:

Just 20 years too late.

Barron will probably be a decent enough but nothing special sort of soccer player, but what if he was really good? Like playing for a UCL team good? The kind of once in a generation talent that could lead the USA to a WC win? It would be interesting to see how the left-leaning and multinational American soccer crowd

You can’t pay your way onto a MLS DA squad. That’s not the way they work. Now, being the son of the President can probably get you onto a DA squad regardless of merit, but just money won’t get you there.

Why would he retire? A lot of people get further buried in their work after losing a spouse

I went to a D3 school with a half decent football program. One year, we (as in the team that I was not a member of, to be clear) were pretty solid; we had a couple guys who ended up in the NFL and a transfer from a D-1 school at QB. We played against a team that we were better than, but they had a DT who weighed in

I screamed bloody murder at half the names I saw on the team sheet. Hell, I’d take Jona Gonzalez over Bradley in a heartbeat.

Arena resigned. His lackey Sarachan is in charge until they find someone else.

He went to one WC with the USA, and he would have gone to one with Iceland if he chose them. It’s all even in the long run.

On January 1st, 2017, Gonzalez was a locked to the USA and had repeatedly rebuffed El Tri. A year later and he’s going to wear green. What happened?

Without transatlantic flights, I wouldn’t watch even a quarter of the movies I do now. It’s the perfect environment for the just good enough film.

Do.. or do not. There is no try.

Every time a team gets together a new group of stars, they struggle early and have hiccups before finally gelling. The Heat and the Cavs went through it after adding LeBron. Adding Durant to the Warriors caused some ugly moments at first. The media always freaks out, proclaiming the demise of the team and declaring

Yep, this was an insane take to me. She didn’t grow up as an American, she grew up as an expat in America. For her culture to be more similar to her parents is pretty much a guarantee. I grew up overseas, but culturally I’m American more than anything else. It would be bizarre for someone to think my Americanisms were
