EV tax credits have been a generous gift to the rich.

What did Jeep know and when did they know it?

My latest Toyota purchase was 30 minutes total time in the dealer. Walking in the front door to driving away. Everything was agreed to in advance. No drama. No add ons. It can happen.

The Mazda dealer near me is the hard sell old school tactics. The Ford dealer is very relaxed.

Whatever Costco is carrying is what I purchase. They are consumable items that I replace yearly.

Electric buses are in the future.  Wait for OTR Semi's to have 10yrs of electric use. Buses should not be an experimental platform. Emergency responders are still not properly equipped to handle electric cars. No way they can handle the large battery fire of a bus.

Hannah could pay for a plane ticket. Spend two days wrenching. Spend one day checking California junkyards for your own projects.  Prices are high compared to Michigan.  Probably average for California.

Why not use a blind trust? Other politicians use a blind trust. Removes any ethical problems.

Owned a 79' Z with dual gauge. Running at high speed on the small gauge allowed the driver to watch the gauge drop in real time.

My State gas tax is at  $.49. Legislators are looking to add another $.18 per gallon. Let's start with a surcharge on electric vehicles. Electric vehicles pay no gas tax yet use the roads. Most electric vehicles are owned by the upper income people. Whatever the average gas tax paid per state should be the yearly

The Toyotas on the list make sense. There are plenty of personal owned HD trucks that go hundreds of thousands of miles. Many while towing. Cummins has a program to send badges to their million mile club which includes the Dodge/Ram.

Optional outside noise generator at startup for electric vehicles is not a bad idea.

A a new car company it seems plausible Tesla let this problem go for a year or two. Memory was not that expensive in 2012+.

4runner usually sells 100k units in the US. Adding another product could cannibalize 4runner sales with the added expense of government crash testing and emissions certificatons.

Are these road legal in any US State?

Mild hybrid V6 with rubber floors. Entry edition with $20k price reduction.

Old Optima batteries were solid. The current Optima batteries have not lasted as long in my opinion.

Recommend a hidden fuel pump shutoff for your Honda. They are easily stolen where i live.

I don’t take Consumer Reports as the leading authority on vehicles. However, I recently read they rate the current Explorer 1 out of 100 for reliability. It’s their worst rated vehicle for the year. It outshines all FCA products. Electrical and transmission replacements.

Everytime I buy a car I also buy the associated Chilton/Haynes manual. Right to work legal problems is an indication of the future. Dealer repairs only.
