The company publicly announced they have under one year to turn it around. Normal fender benders already take months of waiting on parts. Why would anyone buy a Tesla? I'm thankful they pushed competition in the right direction.

The press is involved.  Otherwise the tickets would stand.

I prefer strangers. The few I have sold to friends and family I end up being tech support. They call me about things that break due to time (fuel pump) that have nothing to do with my time as owner. I’ve had hurt feelings from others when I’m too busy to fix their problems.

They actually delivered. Hard to do on Live TV. 

Renault has done great things for Nissan reliability.  

Reliability and Safety lists usually rank Nissan products at the bottom. There is no compelling reason to buy any product from Nissan. 

I thought Tesla recommended not filling the battery above 90% or so to extend battery life? 

Early 90's, unable to rent a car in Hawaii under age 25 unless you had a reservation.  While in line, one of our group called the 1-800 from the payphone in their lobby. Had the reservation just before our turn at the counter.  Counter person then upgraded us to a better vehicle.  

Looks similar to the "Renegade " model of the time. Also known as Barbie Jeep.  This price is close to a stock 91'. CP because of the time required to remove/sawzall the cladding.

Check out "Born Free" RVs. They have an integrated cage system for occupant safety. Might be the only one like it. Friend bought one years ago.

I was thinking Manual transmission. One was featured here a week ago.

Test drove the new 2012 Focus in mid 2011. The transmission was glitchy. Engine wasn't right either. First test drive I knew before exiting the parking lot it was a no go. 

I like the one button that lowers all windows at once. 

Toyota Camry. Very reliable. Won't hurt your sole to drive in the salt roads.  Get Winter tires. You can give it to your landlord later.

Move to Oregon.  Free cars for everyone. Car theft is not illegal.
