Don’t worry, it’s fake, unlike the LFA.

Christ, this thing is so clean it looks like a CGI model photoshopped into the scene.

I wonder how they will package it. Their whole lineup is fwd (miata excluded)... Will it be some kind of transverse setup? Will there be a new rwd platform for large cars?

It’s strange, but there seems to be a resurgence in large 2 door coupes lately. BMW moved upmarket from the 6 to the 8, Mercedes is still making the S-class coupe, Lexus recently re-entered the market with the LC. And there are rumors of a new Porsche 928...

I have the same hunch. The coupe’s trunk just seems too long, it’s strange.

I said it when the 8 coupe debuted, and from the spy photos of the 8GC I’ll say it again: the 8GC will be much better looking than the 8 coupe. The coupe’s geenhouse just seems too small for the body underneath. The GC fixes that, as evidenced by the teaser and spy shots. The previous 6GC had a really strong presence

How about the next best thing: As of tonight, you can still spec a 2019 M6 Gran Coupe with a manual.

So really, the title should have been “When lightweighting doesn’t go far enough.” Just dump the Executive package, right? Bring the price to $110k, and feel better about your lack of armrest because hey, at least there’s no power sunshade! Basically, whoever ticked the executive package box should be kept away from

I’ll be looking forward to the article “The BMW Z3 M Coupe is a great-looking car and did nothing to deserve your hate”. I understand why people call it ugly, but to me it’s pretty hot.

Again, sorry, what? I was comparing a V6 4x4 4-full-door short-bed Colorado, which does cost 32k. True, an off-roader with a bed will probably be more capable than a work truck. But I think it’s a safe bet that a person who would take their Gladiator to places the Colorado can’t reach will get a Rubicon anyway, or

True. Your caption of “no options” made me think you were saying the Colorado is overpriced relative to the Gladiator, which it isn’t really. Tracy’s build had crank windows, for Christ’s sake!

Sorry, what? The ZR2 is the top trim level, and it has $7600 in optional packages. The cheapest V6 4x4 4-door can be had for $32,000 according to the builder. And much, much cheaper if you don’t need 4wd, 4 doors, or neither. Plus you can get a long bed if you need an actual work truck, plus you can get diesel if you

What crazy things would people do on trains? Did James have some anecdotes to tell?

Wow. Assuming Calvo didn’t purposely drive into Martinez, what an unbelievable dick move. You’re gonna grab onto someone else’s bike, have them stop for your safety, and you’re gonna throw a fist? And you’re gonna walk away not even expecting retaliation? Wow. Seems like Martinez should have gotten a harsher

I’m much more concerned about the disappearance of the Hoffmeister Kink. Along with their attempts to merge the kidney grilles, BMW is slowly flushing the auto industry’s strongest visual identity down the drain.

Eh, Grand Tour is really not bad now. They’ve cut the celebrity segments no one wanted, and some of the segments are legitimately great: like the Lancia/Audi rally battle, and continuation DB4/XKSS test.

One of my favorite cars to run in Assetto Corsa. The sound they captured is amazing, and correctly sounds different from cockpit and chase cam. I’ll just do practice laps with it, switching between cameras, just for the sound.

“Hey Porsche, open the cupholder”

Hydrogen fuel cell whatever bla bla bla. 2JZ SWAP BRO!
