Absolutely, Apple is a great comparison, and I don’t like Apple’s attitude for the exact same reason. They’re rarely(not never) the first to do something, but they sure act and talk like they are. Most people don’t care, but that attitude strikes me as extremely cynical - more so than most other marketing.
