Consider Jalopnik's love of wagons, small pickups, utes, etc. Some criticism leveled against the ZDX specifically is that its rear seats are useless. I'm not saying there are no double standards on the internet, though.
I think of the ZDX as a personal luxury crossover. Kind of like a personal luxury coupe - space efficiency isn't a strong suit, nor is it the point.
