AND the fact that women shouldn’t have to do better than everyone else to achieve the same kind of success. If you have to work twice as hard to get half as far as your male colleagues, that’s indicative of a problem that needs addressing, not a justification for telling other women that they need to work harder.

My mom had a ring like that in the 80s (obvs with a much smaller stone but still). I thought it was a very common style.

It’s really not that special or one of a kind. I’m sure the quality of the sapphire and diamonds is spectacular but the style of the ring itself is quite mumsy and dated. Not a fan.
