The thing is these guys are terrible with money so as fast as it’s coming in, it’s also going out. They are buying fancy cars and renting expensive mansions. Buy collectibles and crazy expensive clothes. Basically not putting a single dime into actual smart, adult investments.

Even in a lawsuit against Logan Paul, the police officer comes off as a total douche. “I paid $3,000 to a YouTube guy for a crypto game promise, now he owes me $75,000" is really hard to get behind. Like, even against Logan Paul peddling crypto, the cop still comes off as the asshole here.

When it comes to the toxic ones, at least, there are a LOT of stupid tweens out there who 1) have a bunch of free time to spend watching streamers all day every day and 2) have their little tween minds blown by “edgy” streamers being transgressive.

That’s more than likely true. A huge chunk of popular streamers are either really boring or toxic as hell. And sometimes I wonder how they are still popular.

I only made it about an hour into it this weekend but I’m interested to play more. It was fun and different than everything else I’m playing and I enjoyed what I did play. And, come on, I just need to know that the cat is ok and I need to see her again to get any kind of closure. Gimme that cat.

The “doesn’t require a paint shop” part will sound great right up until they’re trying to handle large stainless steel panels without scratching them. You can’t do paint touchup to cover any sins.

I associate quality with things lining up properly and not falling off. Not rattling like a castanet is a nice thing too. And materials quality better than a cheap Chinese toy would be a plus. Also being easy to use without having to search around a touchscreen would be a *huge* plus.

The company has also standardized vehicle designs to improve economies of scale, which is why every Tesla basically looks the same no matter the spec.

You know what the real secret of their profit is?

If Tesla has one skill it is selling cost-cutting measures as premium features. The interior is not as nice as it’s competitors—it’s intentionally elegant minimalism! We’re not using LIDAR and getting rid of radar for our self-driving—using just cameras is much better because you don’t have to resolve conflicting…
