Stumptown deserves a place here. It was renewed, and the ending of S1 was based on that renewal. But then it was unrenewed. Shame, as it really was a good show with a lot of story left to tell.

I agree. We haven’t watched this season yet because we prefer for the whole season to be complete so we can binge. I feel like it started to go downhill considerably last year, I think it was time.

Would have read if it wasn’t presented as a time-consuming slideshow.

I don’t think Superstore is ending too soon. You can see the comedic fabric beginning to fray.  If anything its ending at just the right moment- nothing can be more absurd than the COVID pandemic.

Respectfully, Mike. With “hard numbers” so difficult to put on almost every aspect of this, could you not have reached out to some of these “middle class” accounts and asked for some typical experiences?

You’ve done some work here, but no one after reading the piece is any wiser as to “How Much Money Can You Make on Read more

I like to think of it as 70 million. Under normal rounding rules, 70,395,997 rounds down to only 70 million, and that makes him angrier, so it’s better. Also, Biden’s 74,565,120 rounds up to 75 million, so under rounding rules, Trumplethinskin lost by 5 million. 😂 Read more

You know what’s depressing? Trump got 63 million votes in 2016 and 71 million this year. Meaning he gained supporters in spite of four years filled with incompetence and vulgarity! Where are these people coming from? What the hell are they thinking?

After 1,387 days of this dipshit (73 left and counting!), I still cannot comprehend how his followers can see even a day of his Twitter and media activity and still believe he’s somehow “strong.” I have never met an adult that’s as much of a baby as he is.

I’m from a rural red area, we voted decades ago to go on permanent mail in ballots. The polling place is there as much to explain the process of filling out a mail in ballot as it is to vote. Read more

I’m at work and fangirl screamed when I saw the author’s name. I’m not sure what stars aligned to have Rep. Katie Porter posting direct to Jez, but I love this idea and would love to see more.

No. Maybe for a rough chop, but my post was premised on a hypothetical application where truly minced garlic was called for and there’s no universe in which a knife (in my hands, at least) can achieve that level of granularity faster than a food processor. It’s also rare that I’m only using a few cloves of garlic; for Read more

When I was younger they had told us that people would stick them into apples since they could be easily pushed in and bitten into. I always felt that problem solved itself. They're apples... On Halloween... No ones biting into those that night
