Disregard.
Disregard.
So, wasn’t great that’s for sure. The Barkley segment was pretty alright, he’s always entertaining and Bill knows basketball. Affleck was poorly judged to say the least (who outside of Boston gives a fuck anymore guys?).
Well said. I'd say I've clicked on 25% of what I've seen there.
It’s super weird how grantland was the perfect accompaniment to deadspin.
Also, I know I’m the old person who actually goes to websites rather than clicking on Facebook links, but The Ringer website is truly hideous looking. So much green, probably in homage to the Celts, while the words-over-photos design is bad (I blame Vox for making it mainstream).
It’s for your phone which makes it edgier than Grantland.
The articles are very short, which isn’t necessarily bad. Just lacking real depth and insight by and large. Grantland set a pretty high bar and so far, this is very much the light beer version of it.
To be fair, the only Ringer content I digest is David Shoemaker’s Unnamed Wrestling Podcast and his columns. I could give half a shit about Bill Simmons’ Giant Vanity Project
I can’t fucking handle Simmons anymore, so I expected to hate the Ringer (since Lowe and Barnwell are still with ESPN), but I’ve been reading a lot of it lately. It’s surprisingly good, and somehow feels less douchy than Grantland.
I don’t know if I’d go as far as “suck” but it’s an afterthought when Grantland was the first site I opened in the morning. The podcasts (the watch aside) are worse, especially the NBA pod, Litman doesn’t have chemistry with Dobbins, Mays clearly misses Barnwell. There’s no Prince Movies.
So far I don’t like it much at all.
Just add it up to the hot rod death toll
Plus he’s white. Let’s be honest, that’s why you hate him.
Nobody would even consider counting Ricky Rubio’s Spain assist count in his NBA total. I find it a bit bizarre since it’s really not that hard to parse. It’s an MLB record. Ichiro can have some sort of “all leagues” record, and people can value them each as they wish.
If he doesn’t show dramatic improvement, there’s always hope that a Trump Presidency will dramatically devalue the dollar, making $225 million seem like mere pocket change.
Why do you like Draymond? He’s never been a pleasant sort of person.
Yup. As a terrible, terrible CB, this pains me with shameful flashbacks.
Only a person who has never played soccer would assume this was intentional.
Heres the story: Draymond Green is a shitbird.
More like Draymond Peen
