When is he going to start ranting on Twitter like, oh uhm the Cheeto Nazi?

The way he’s not really a real car industry guy running Tesla is like the POTUS not being a real politician running this country.

I was always impressed how much they had done with so little spinning off so many different body styles and models all from the original Hornet model.

AMC Spirit not Sprint. For 1979 it was a restyled Gremlin. The liftback pictured was an additional new body style with more sloped rear quarters and a full liftgate while they also carried over the old Gremlin kammback body with much larger rear quater side windows to replace Gremlin’s inverted triangles.

I enjoy the simplicity of my cousin Chris’ red Javelin which he restored completely from the ground up. I’m not impressed with the exaggerated mods.

Well since this is about Rancheros with concealed headlamps with flip up covers, you can take any 1977-79 Ranchero and install the hood and front end header panel intact with the grille and lights from the 1977-79 Thunderbird and have another custom option for a truck with hidden headlamps. I was all ready to jump all over his shit but you beat me to it LOL

It was nothing more than a Cavalier with leather and full power options. Cadillac was too desperate to get into the BMW game. There was a GM executive at the time that told the head of Cadillac that he did not have time to turn the J-car into a Cadillac. At its best right near production end it was not much more than

That Talbot Horizon is what Chrysler pattered the Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon from to be the first US manufacturer to have a FWD car competitive with the VW Rabbit.

1985 was the last year they were Continental Marks. After that they were Lincoln Marks.

I think it sucks too that it uses Ford truck taillamps when the originals would have been easier to work in without modifying the corners. There is a myriad Chrysler-spec taillamps to choose from.

I always liked those along with its Dodge twin the Rampage. They especially looked good with the later four eyed front end.

The original design prototype of the Mark VII was restyled into a Thunderbird along with a Cougar version and allowed to go in production ahead of the Mark VII to help boost dismal sales of the 80-82 Thunderbird and Cougar. The aero styling was well received and greatly improved sales to be among the best ever behind

Initially offered as coupes, GM developed these N-body cars Olds (Cutlass) Calais, Pontiac Grand Am and Buick Somerset (later renamed Skylark) to see if buyers would accept dwarf-sized fuel efficient FWD alternatives to the RWD G-body personal luxury coupes Cutlass Supreme/Grand Prix/Buick Regal.

Big assed cars for big assed people...

I had my first car a 1976 Mustang II Cobra II before I got my driver’s license. The car I got my driver’s license in was a 1980 Dodge Diplomat 4-door, my parent’s car. Before that my step-mom used to let me drive her 1978 Dodge Colt Carousel 2-door illegally with her in the car. I also learned how to drive a
