I can't wait for this. Would like to play some games on the iMac since it'll run it.

The multiplayer looks top notch for this release, a definite improvement over Halo 3. I can't wait to Reach around for a jetpack then jump on a Spartan's back and knock him out cold. Lots of fun to be had.

@lex3191: That sounds like a good idea. I've only had one friend before that had social anxiety and we definitely connected better because of understanding it.

@Sobersean: aka Doctor Aquafresh: Thanks for not only reading all of that personal stuff (TheDroog and Effin as well) but giving the response you did. A lot of people could make use of that advice, not just me.

@PunkyChipsAhoy: I submitted the first comment for the obligatory "witty one liner" comment of the week section before you wrote the second one...Now I'm not so sure if that was the best idea.

What an inspiration to blind people who not only want to game, but who try something they're told isn't possible. The water temple must've taken a lot of that time, kudos to this man.

@Orionsaint: You can switch SW Battlefront to first person mode. That's kind of close (?)

This reminds me of myself and my addiction to the computer/movies. I was picked on a lot in HS and have had some pretty bad interpersonal relationships throughout my life so far. Aside from gaining severe social anxiety because of what happened, I've always been much better in expressing myself through written words.

@LordMaim: I can see why it's well liked but I tend to go for more "serious" games like SoTC or Killzone 2. (SR had a UFO right, clown faces and lots of strange custom voices?) Some of the cutscenes were pretty epic though and the gameplay itself was enjoyable. I'm just more of a GTAIV guy.

I'm a huge fan of film and want to play somewhat "realistic" immersive games that provide a cinematic experience. Almost as if I'm a director controlling the flow of action.

That is an absolutely fantastic animation job by Quantic Dream. This is tastefully done, all there is to see is a naked body. How that is worse then violence is beyond me.

Hey Activision, as someone who bought previous iterations of the series I'm done. I know I won't make much of a difference but one person at a time can.

@shadow_judge: From the archives: "Otaku is a Japanese word meaning unhealthily obsessed. In Japan, otaku are further sub-classed into being creepy crazy for either video games, anime, manga, or idol singers. In the U.S. it's been mostly associated with fans of anime and manga. We are told that using "ko-" at the

@wtf_G: IW created CoD, I meant they'd be frustrated in seeing their creation taken from them and released every year (now a third development studio is rumoured)

My gut feeling is that the senior leaders were sick of forcing out COD games and having the IP released every year like Madden. That they wanted to branch out and get away from Activision the same way they did from Medal of Honor. It's MOH all over again except they got caught and fired.

Kotaku makes hundreds of posts a week, almost all of which manage to get my interest for a click and a read. Mr. Crescente and the crew are the editors of the site and if they see fit to try their hands at reviewing some movies, I'm all for it. I like games, I like movies. At the end of the day you always have the

@DukeOfPwn: Unfortunately Gawker's Hollywood blog (Defamer) didn't fare so well and was one of the sites stripped and merged into the big one.

@AchromaticMagus: That is "the Witz". A few years back he was the comments moderator for this site and he did an incredible job with the position. He has that many followers for a reason and deserves a star.

@Veritas7Ax: I rarely say anything about it, but after reading Kotaku every day for 3 years now (over 25,000 posts in addition to other Gawker sites as well) submitting tips, comments of the week and making thousands of comments I still feel like a second class poster. I try to contribute as much as possible and
