@Methusalah: Awesome, great find. Maybe an article update?

Even though I'll be buying GoW3, I want the demo to tide me over. Can't wait to play it.

@Inspector-Jones: General opinion that it sucked comes from people who love hating what's popular. On the critics stage it's one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time (even directors like it). Imo it deserves all the recognition. Game is one of the best I've ever played.

Most expensive movie ever made? PoTC: At World's End with a budget of $300 mil. (Though with inflation, maybe Titanic). Games are approaching Hollywood budgets fast. GTA looks expensive as hell.

$60 is just too much. I usually wait until games cost $30 or are on sale for $40 (ACII on boxing day). If it's something epic like GTA or Uncharted I'll shell out the cash, but this gen has gone up a lot in price. After tax it's almost seventy bones a game.

@SirFragsAIot: I know that but can't stand using Windows anymore. I use a MB and after the family computer got a virus and killed itself (even my knowledge of PC's didn't help) the fam bought an iMac and said "forget Windows". So, $400 more for Mac exclusivity is here now.

I would like it on the Mac. The new iMac has a fairly decent graphics chip (the Nvidia Geforce 9400M) that can run CoD, Bioshock and others. Would like to game a little on it.

I bought Black a couple months ago and it's exhilarating gameplay, slick menus and impressive graphics still hold up today. Sequel please?

I really enjoyed Battle of the Forli because I knew exactly what the mission was going to give me. I had hopes for this as well but haven't completed it yet due to frustration. I consider myself a good player of the game (only died six times the entire story, mostly from missing a jump) but the farmer assassination is

I'm actually looking forward to this game and the more I hear/see about it the more it's getting my [positive] attention. This may be EA's "Batman Begins" to reboot the B&R that were the last few iterations.

If the book explores more of the historical conspiracies like a Dan Brown novel I'll pick it up.

@Hinkuto: Wet had some nice set pieces. Even if the game's dialogue didn't turn out well, when creating the script the writers described the set pieces and action pacing from beginning to end. They more or less set the tone for the game and create the world on the page which is a part of what they judge the nominees

@Jesse Nickell: Yeah, I wonder what games would be like if their dialogue was the quality of Tarantino, PTA or early Woody Allen. For now it's GTA, Heavy Rain and Uncharted.

As much as I like Uncharted 2 (a lot) the award should've gone to Assassins Creed II. Just the thought of the great undertaking that went into writing every detail of that game is enough. All the documents, the lengthy cut scenes, the historical research used to flesh out fiction, the present/past intercutting. That's

Facility was my favorite level in Goldeneye and PD. Can't wait to give it another spin when this update hits.

To anyone worried about this being the sequel, it's not. The working title is supposedly "Assassin's Creed II: Episodes". I'm fairly certain the trilogy will be concluded with a futuristic Desmond game, they just want to make more money off all the assets and the game world they created.

I think it's unfortunate how this guy has to apologize for his personal life. I don't care what he did (as long as it wasn't a serious crime) it doesn't change the fact that he's an incredibly golfer.

The funniest moment of the night for me was a presenter said, "Up next are more revealings of awards..." (in low, beaten down voice) "...and more Jay Mohr."

@bentl78: They're not "astronomically high" but Sony has said the sales have surpassed the first game. Right now the world tally is just over 3 million copies sold, which isn't bad at all.

10 awards for Uncharted 2. Though I'm a big fan of the game I'm disappointed that ACII didn't get anything. That game deserved some awards.
