There are things I collect of my own, though nowhere near as much as this. We all have personal reasons, whether emotional or just a connection to the series. If she has the money and it makes her happy, why can't she spend it on objects she loves?

@WhiteMåge is in fact a boy, damnit: Oh yes, couldn't resist. (Edit, won't embed!)
@Komrade Kayce: His initial idea was awesome, not sure if he's still sticking with it though. The film would follow an alternative group of friends on the same night, leading up to their paths crossing. Remember the guy on the bridge who also had a video camera, they stopped and filmed each other a second? It'd follow…
@spiderweb1986: AC/DC has a thing about any music entity releasing their songs as singles. That is why it currently isn't on iTunes. The only way they'd let Harmonix release their music was to put it in a disc based exportable track pack. That wasn't a game, it was just AC/DC's way of doing business.
I was against this until I read a comment that said "This is a $60 track pack for Green Day, a tribute to their fans. All the songs are exportable to other Rock Band titles." Then I thought it was an interesting idea, to feature the music of only the band in that way. It would be cheaper then buying the songs…
I thought the third person cover system in Quantum of Solace was well done. After awhile you get so used to popping in and out that it becomes very easy to just knock off headshots as Bond, then become immersed in first person again.
I picked this game up for $30 after seeing the movie, knowing it didn't have the best reviews. I just liked taking in the environment at 1080p. The gameplay was fairly generic and aside from looking pretty it didn't have much more to offer. Having the ability to play two campaigns is interesting but then they're just…

The only one missing is Assassins Creed II in the writing category. Before even scrolling down to it I thought "That's a shoe in for a win." Apparently not.
Oh Sony, with those prices Vietnam definitely won't love you long time.
@PoweredByHentai: I agree. SOCOM was a title I had a lot of fun with, but this one didn't deliver for me.
I downloaded this, played it for half an hour and then deleted it off the HD. It is not my thing at all, it felt like a very poor man's attempt at recreating a MW2 online experience. I've played hundreds of games and have a lot of patience but almost immediately its blandness, generic name and "it does 256 players…
@RawrSpoon: Yeah it is. It's also funny how back then you couldn't ever buy a movie. They didn't have VHS, DVD, the internet. You want to see a film? Go to the theater. That was all you had back then. The numbers are very impressive but even more so for Avatar considering that it isn't a sequel, was doubted early on…
That chart is slightly outdated, as Avatar is now at $1.4 billion worldwide, fast approaching .5
I disagree, the "Disney" or "Pixar" of video games is Nintendo. Classics, well made that appeal to children and adults alike.
Does anybody have concrete numbers on the total sales so far of The Beatles Rock Band? I've read it has moved over a million copies but nothing on the money.
People, the scripts are most likely not judged on dialogue alone. If the game started from scratch on the page, the entire level was written out and everything described/planned. Those six writers of MW2 wrote out how each level would play out and described them in detail. That is why the game is there. I have to…
If they're judging this on not only the in game dialogue but the writing that sets up the scenes (for example, describing and laying out the entire level, like a film script), then that is why MW2 should be there. It is a disappointment that Arkham Asylum isn't on the list though.
@ReynaldoRiv: I'm using a MB and had previously run FF on it for over a year with no problems. I'm thinking it could be a processor/overheating or dust problem. I'll clear out the vents too because this has only happened recently.
Lately my internet has been having a huge problem, something that didn't happen when I was using Safari. Maybe it's my processor but randomly the fans kick in and it gets so hot (Up to 80 Celsius) that web pages just crawl. It happens a lot when multiple tabs of Kotaku are open. It's making this computer unusable and…
