I am going to watch it (or parts of it), when I don't have to pay to watch it. It was a really fun experience, but "I'm somewhere in the background of a couple scenes and it was filmed somewhere I've been to on a daily basis" isn't worth going out of my way to pay to see in theatres when nothing else about the movie

Listened to the new Tobolowsky Files today. God, I'm so glad that there presumably won't be another six month wait between episodes.

I was an extra in a couple scenes of this!  It was a fun experience (particularly running from a fake buffalo for take after take after take at like four AM) and it's neat that they filmed a movie at my college, but I'm still never going to see it unless it pops up on Netflix Instant and I want to see what was filmed

The dude who wrote this really did have a good handle on writing Pierce. But oh god, the visual effects.

For real. I decidedly liked this episode, aside from the Winger speeches and the too-cartoony thing with Pierce trying to fix the light. Maybe not as good as the haunted house one, but way better than the first or third episode.

That blatantly mimed guitar solo is fantastic.

Just give it to Neil Patrick Harris already. He's hosted everything else.

I enjoyed the Jennifer Lawrence reaction shot if that counts any.

Yeah. It still ended up long, I guess (I watched it on DVR so I had a great time skipping through shit I didn't care about!), but they honestly made a bunch of smart choices getting rid of the really ridiculous shit.

Oh god, now I get why they had Catharine Zeta-Jones lip sync on their show now. Ugh. That should have been cut. If they needed another one, get Nancy Sinatra or Carly Simon or one of the other better Bond theme singers to perform like they did with Bassey.

He was a step in the right direction after the Hathaway/Franco high school drama department "let's put on a show" disaster of 2011, and Zombie Billy Crystal last year. He should pat himself on the back for that, and then punch himself in the face for the "We Saw Your Boobs" song.

Isn't that the actual name of the Key & Peele LMFAO parody song?

AV Club's grading scale isn't objective for TV shows. An episode of Big Bang Theory that got an A is an A-episode by whatever the reviewer considers to be Big Bang Theory standards, and that's the same for every show they review. Therefore they are not, in fact, necessarily saying that House of Cards is worse than Big

I'm like six episodes in, and the show's tagline of "Bad. For a greater good." puzzles me because I have yet to see any indication that there's any greater good to anything Frank Underwood does.

He's not. He just really likes London during the blitz.

This episode was waaaaaaaaaaaay too on-the-nose about everything, and the Annie subplot did not work in the slightest.

Yeah, I was *massively* disappointed when there was no Sarducci last night. I want him to have appeared on SNL in five consecutive decades.

Armisen has been on SNL way too long. That's not really as egregious as it used to be when only Kevin Nealon and Tim Meadows were there for a billion years (and I'd take either over Armisen), but it's really just… dude, move on. At least with Seth Meyers he's only on one segment a night and is the head writer.

I AM THE CHEESE

I don't think Abi-Maria would have played a second game of Survivor seventeen days after Philippines finished filming, though. She was an emotional wreck at the end of that.
