They tried evolving as a band. It was called First Impressions of Earth and it sucked. I'll take same-y Strokes albums if that's the alternative.

I dunno, I think Pharoah has had a couple of central performances in sketches that I'd consider to be the best (or nearly the best) to come out of a specific episode (the Unstoppable parody trailer, Denzel Washington as a customer service rep at Target or wherever, Bride of Funkenstein).
Yeah, as someone with a little sister who used to watch nothing but the Disney Channel, I appreciated that sketch quite a bit. That, the Black Eyed Peas sketch (which would have been even better had they deep-sixed the lazy Charlie Sheen sketch), and Les Jeunes de Paris were the winners for me this week.
I'd be more cool with it if it were Circe or something, but who the fuck is Veronica Cale? Is this just a weak attempt to make Girl Lex Luthor or is this a character that's actually shown up in the comics before?
Except for The Rock. He was good.
Haven't read the review yet
But as a wrestling fan this was seriously the worst episode of Raw in ages. Horrible.
My back is spineless, my belly is yellow
I am the American non-voter.
I honestly can't stand Wigger Artie so I wanted to punch him in the face for much of this episode. Not that Normal Artie's much more of an engaging character, I guess.
Yeah, I didn't have as much of a problem with this episode as some. The baby/family stuff is absolutely boring but the Roan Montgomery stuff was a lot of fun. Without him in the episode the whole thing would have been a wash, though, and I'm still not particularly excited for the rest of this season.
God, the best part of the Redwall books were usually the villains. Jacques wrote really, really cool villains. Also incredibly British rabbits, for whatever reason.
I really liked Marlfox when it came out, and I still like the idea in retrospect. Something about Jacques playing out this big Shakespearean "here's a bunch of family members plotting to kill each other and take power" thing as the villain sideplot to the usual storyline with the ragtag bunch of heroes really got me.…
… "to complaining." Well done, me.
"How many times are we gonna see Sue write in her diary?"
Also, I laughed when Tina got murdered by the opposing football player. I probably shouldn't have laughed at that, but it was just so ridiculous.
Asshole Black Jock
I think his name is Azimio? That dude was great in this episode. Especially the showtune line, which was the kind of bizarre throwaway line that Glee does best. I also genuinely loved stretching the Sue Sylvester Destroys School Property to Ominous Latin Chanting gag to two scenes as if she'd just…
I loved him as Evil Steve Jobs on Chuck, too.
Cera was a pretty good Scott Pilgrim but I still think he was a bit too low-key/quiet for the role. Someone on here said that the best casting choice for Scott Pilgrim would have been Topher Grace circa the late '90s and I really agree with that.
The stretch in the prison was probably the best parts. That and the scenes where Timothy Dalton really just got to ham up the place (painting a dog, smashing an eye that's actually a data storage… thing).
I think they explained it as being because she wanted/needed to figure out about Hydra which is supposedly an even bigger deal than Volkoff himself. Or. Something.
Coffee & TV is easily my favorite Blur song. Truly fantastic. If I had to pick a top five, it'd probably be something like
