Wasn't he already a serial killer
On whatever soap opera it is that he plays himself (or, sorry, "Franco") on? He's just going deeper. Decades from now we'll look back on these years as his Serial Killer Period.

To be fair, Gervais' joke re: RDJ was astonishingly lazy. Like, third-rate shock jock lazy.

There's like a shortlist of people that Stewart does good casual interviews with. He's great with Ben Affleck and Brian Williams, for example.

Catherine O'Hara is really wonderful in that movie. I also love John Michael Higgins (in my opinion the most underrated Guest collaborator) in the, like… three scenes or so that he's in.

"if you could only preserve one song from The White Album, which would it be?"

A Hard Day's Night is definitely, in terms of not having a bad song, The Beatles' best album. Everything is at the very least decent enough as long as you're not one of those people who dislikes early Beatles being mostly poppy love songs (and even then, the album ends with John Lennon's best song out of the batch

How the fuck does "Revolution 9" get singled out for this instead of "Revolution 1" (as said, it's just"Revolution" stripped of everything that makes "Revolution" a good song), "Long, Long, Long" (the most forgettable song The Beatles ever made), or even "Wild Honey Pie" (I love it but it's absolutely pointless)?

The Beeper King is great. He better make at least one appearance this season.

I loved Terriers but never really thought much of the theme beyond maybe the way it ends.

First Rule of SNL Discussion: All SNL before the past five years of SNL were "the good years" and now SNL totally sucks.

Though the highlight of that episode definitely was Fatbusters.

Man, whatever
I know it's cool to hate on SNL recurring characters or whatever but I loved the Night at the Roxbury sketches. Something about it rarely got old (except for maybe when they had a guest host on who simply couldn't do the head bobbing no matter how hard he tried).

Man, I just thought it was someone doing a really good Monty Burns impersonation. That's awesome.

I loved "Queen Bitch of the Universe," but then I was thirteen and also a DBZ-watcher. Still, I could have done with a lot more of that Kerrigan and a lot less of the one we got in SCII who had no personality and was ultimately just the focal point of a lame "hero saves the girl" narrative.

I HAVE COME… TO RECLAIM ROME… *FOR MY PEOPLE!!!!*

Tricia Helfer
Was boring as Kerrigan and really only served to make me miss Glynnis Talken that much more. But then again, she had incredibly bland dialogue to work with.

Seriously, I love Stan Lee's Twitter account. I skim past his updates more often than not these days now that the novelty's worn off a bit but stuff like the continual on-again off-again feud with Craig Ferguson's followers makes it worth it.

Brittany
I swear to god between the magic comb last week and the Santa stuff this week they're just seeing how many sitcom plotlines intended for the Olsen Twins on Full House they can give her. I miss when she was reliably one of the most entertaining parts of the show.

It kept topping itself
Right up until "Lou Ferrigno ("Hulken")." Video over.

Well, that's why I said *since* "Hellfire" and not "it's better than 'Hellfire.'" What I was basically meaning to imply is that we've had a good fifteen years between truly great villain themes (sorry, "Friends on the Other Side"), and I think this is on that level. What it lacks in "holy shit this dude is evil"
