The issue is time. The entire purpose of our intellectual property laws are not to protect inventor. They are to expand innovation and allow others to build on inventions. That’s why we protect intellectual property for limited time. The trade-off is a grant of a time limited monopoly for the inventor disclosing the

My initial reaction was “a faster longnose hot turd is still very much an ugly, hot turd” — but this one has proven itself by travelling 189k miles and is still in decent shape. If it’s well sorted and its condition holds up to scrutiny, it’s not an automatic ND.

While this is true, for journalistic purposes, it’s usually best to use MSRP prices because manufacturers can and do change incentives fairly often, and not all buyers may qualify for all incentives. Also, many of the incentives are just dealers marking down the stock, which will, naturally, vary from dealer to dealer.

I sell Zeros (Another electric motorbike maker). Reliability tends to be a non-concern for electrics. They’re removing many of the “What could go wrong?” variables from your bike in fact.

Probably quit and work for the PD next door.

Surely, if cops get special training that allows them to drive safely while consulting electronic devices, they can be trained to drive safely while drunk?

Throw the book at this guy, and make it a big heavy book too.

If it was a Yoda Tacoma, he could have driven away.  :-)

Resurrect old names, and see what you can do in the EV market. Seeing how they’re essentially a dead brand anyway, Stellantis might as well use them as a do-over.

Learn from Cadillac and Lincoln. Caddy has focused on high performance sedans, yet the only money they make are on crossovers and the Escalade. Lincoln toiled around with changing vehicle names until they decided to spend a ton on making their crossovers much better and actually desirable.

Wait, you’d push Dodge into the faux luxury spot Chrysler sits in now and bring in something to under cut it by selling cars?

Grab all the French crossovers, smooth out the exteriors, plush up the interiors, and let it ride. Keep the Pacifica and whatever Stellantis replaces the 300 with (if they do). If that doesn’t work, stick a fork in them. The PSA brand should be sold in America somehow, and utilizing an existing brand and dealer

K-car redux.

It would be all electric. Figure out a skateboard chassis and build a minivan, 3 box sedan, CUV, 4 seat convertible, and a pony car.

This is a great suggestion. When I think of the traditional “Big 3" American luxury brands (Cadillac, Lincoln, Chrysler) Chrysler is the one that still has yet to really decide what it wants to be in the future. Lincoln has had a successful revival going back to being plush, comfortable and luxurious. Cadillac is

Damn, that coupe is sexy AF!  Do want.

Make Chrysler the American badge for DS, they can compete as the luxury hybrid/EV brand for now.

The Fit sold consistently well.

The profit margins are just bigger on the vastly inferior HRV.

63 limited by the government on kei cars. Probably with a turbo you can tune it easily to 70 hp.
