Neutral: I have no room to talk, since I had a delightful imported French chocolate chip brioche for breakfast.

1st gear: If this is anything like all insurance companies... If you’re a shit driver your rates will skyrocket, and if you’re an excellent driver you’ll save $10 every 6 months.

Depends on what criteria you consider. If you consider what car brought long range EVs to the masses, I don’t think the Bolt qualifies as number one just due to volume. The Model 3 sold a lot more units (even more units than the Leaf) and that trajectory doesn’t look like it is changing any time soon.

What was bad about the 97?  Those have always been my favorite Mitsubishis from a styling perspective.

If we are going to go all in with EV, I think nuclear is the way to go. combining it with the green methods should give us enough power to handle anything.

Cruise lines are also eager to hit the high seas, as the industry was left out of the $2 trillion COVID-19 relief bill passed in the spring

So is the hypothesis that the driver was asleep? With his foot on the “gas” pedal? Because unless Tesla’s work wildly differently than other vehicles, I assume if the autopilot was turned off 40 seconds before the impact, the car would have decelerated rather than continued to speed up. That requires manual

Tesla will punish you and turn off auto pilot for the rest of the trip if you go over 92 MPH on highway. (street driving auto pilot is limited to 5 mPH over posted speeds) SO that being said anything over 100 Autopilot is completely off. I dont think this is anyone’s fault but the driver itself.

Rig it with some mismatched tires and fouled spark plugs.

I think we’re gonna get a bunch of goofy comments from Biden. The good kind of goofy though. He appears to be the kind of person who honestly just likes to talk to people about anything and, more importantly, listen to them.

Rusty and his Model T (one of a handful of amazing cars he owns) pretty much defines the weirdness of our local car culture here in Detroit. I was supposed to show up there myself in my hot rod Dodge truck, but I had been celebrating some sort of national victory that day and had a bit too much to drink.

I hope trade schools come back in a BIG way—that’s a major short sight in the US right now. Way more demand than supply for skilled labor, and the laborers can choose to run their own company and work for themselves [and make very good money right out of the gate]

It was exciting to hear him really, deeply, passionately looking forward to the future rather than the obsession with the past we’ve been dealing with for the last four years. And it was surprising a nearly 80 year old man not being stuck in his ways.

Education programs to turn pipe fitters into electricians would go a long way to helping the populations dependent on burning dinosaurs. Also need to teach the youth the benefits of trade programs over universities. I've had multiple programs artificially slowed down because there aren't enough contractors.

1st gear:
I hope the federal government comes up with a program to help offset businesses install chargers. Once they are everywhere you are already going to go or stop and no longer need to make a trip/stop at a location just to refuel, it will change a lot of people’s thoughts on electrics.

The program could be part

Prop him up and let him serve, cowards!

Woke up from a restless night feeling pretty terrible.  Read some news first thing (maybe 4:30?) and still felt not great.  Starting to feel a little better now as more votes are being counted, but honestly, still not great.

I would say it’s in poor taste, but it’s not as bad as voting for them.

I say that we combine the Dakotas into one state and make Puerto Rico the 50th state. We wouldn’t even have to rearrange the stars on the flag.
