I thought about posting that version since it’s WAAAAY better than the current car, but an aftermarket solution will always be second rate compared to Aston actually fixing their design.

While the new Vantage may be much better in a technical sense, and the interior and infotainment are definitely improved (thanks Mercedes)....

I have long argued that community routes, such as delivery vehicles, sanitation trucks, landscaping companies, local repair outfits, etc — these are all the best use cases for an electric powertrain.

Deliveries are such great use cases for EVs. This is a vehicle that will never be pressed into extended range duty for a road trip, can be returned to a charging station every night, will drive predictable routes around which range can be managed, and depending on electrical rates, improve operating margins vs. gas.

This is the truth. Integra’s were better/more fun back then, for example. Obviously my opinion but i think its legit. I still miss my Integra GSR.

it’s really hard to justify a $50,000+ luxury car when $20-30k volume cars have really stepped up their game and closed the gap.

I’d like Mercedes to step slightly away from the “luxury” side of things and right into “high quality” what I perceive they used to be.

I say this as a diehard manual owner (up until about six months ago, we hadn’t had an automatic in years, and it was actually a Mercedes): While the death of any three-pedal manual is sad, I can’t help but think, “Whatever.”
