Generally speaking, those kind of purges usually start with the people at the bottom because they’re more “replaceable”.

My point is that just because white people didn’t own slaves in the 1920's didn’t mean they stopped fantasizing about it and using language to reinforce the idea of their own superiority.

I know this is the unpopular opinion on this site, but this one just makes no sense to me. I am all for removal of racist and hateful speech from common use, but the article itself shows that it did not come into use until 1925...60 years after the end of slavery.

I’ve been able to do this so long on Android that I can’t remember when I first could do it. Almost a decade ago? I definitely had a custom launcher, transparent widgets, and icon selection on my LG Ally, if that places the timeframe anywhere. 

Shouldn’t this article be about how iOS users can make their iPhone look like an Android? Maybe it is just me but this article comes across like “oh look at what iPhone can do, and Android can imitate it” as if Android couldn’t do this all along.
