I’m your huckleberry.
I’m your huckleberry.
“They were like, ‘This is ‘The Manchurian Candidate,’ like (Vladimir Putin) has a Russian agent as the president of the United States,” Moby told WFPK’s Kyle Meredith, citing “active and former CIA agents” who asked him to spread the word about President Trump.
Shut up Kevin.
It’s really incredible how many people here assume I voted for Trump just because I have some positive thoughts on this bill, or thoughts right of Karl Marx in general.
At least you’re home sick. Most of the posters here are home because they don’t have a job.
You do realize the gains in the market since 2017 have been markedly greater than any time in recent memory? Yes.
So you think “once the smoke and mirrors dissolve”, and judging by your tone what you really mean is “ once the American economy goes into a recession or some other kind of downturn”, you think the government is then going to RAISE personal income taxes? That’s not how this works man.
So I guess you support cutting personal income taxes further then?
If you have a retirement account that is invested in the US stock market, you’re seeing huge gains because of this. It’s not just limited to the CEOs. It’s good for the economy overall.
The irony is everyone knew the US corporate tax rate was hurting the economy. Even Obama, who himself wanted to cut it!
Do you own a 401(k)? If so, then those added profits help you as well.
Eh, Apple’s going to have another $350B to throw around and plans to create 20k new jobs in the US.
I don’t think anyone’s political opinion is being shaped by their employer, but OK.
Classic leftist. More than happy to speak your mind but completely uninterested in anyone else’s.
What are you talking about? Bonus is compensation. Just ask your tax man. You must still be in college.
Why would they need to trick their employees into believing in trickle down? These people would likely still be at their jobs whether or not the tax cuts were ever actually passed.
In this case it was $500, but most of the other companies increasing comp did so by $1000, and Splinter complained about those too. Whether it’s $500 or $1000, it’s hilarious to see how in denial everyone here is about the tax cuts actually working and the constant moving of the goal posts.
$1000 is not insignificant to someone in the working class struggling to make ends meet.
Your centralized propaganda mouthpieces are excellent at drilling talking-over points into your fear-drenched minds, so please, share.
I also used to just go to Deadspin for their articles until I discovered splinter. Now I can’t help myself to come browse the comment sections and see what all the butthurt liberals are crying about today.
