Other great lines:

I really like this show, but I wish it would lean further into the lunacy of 30 Rock or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (which has 30 Rock’s sensibility at it’s most insane).

I literally came here to see if anyone else got anxiety from the episode. Mushrooms and I don’t mesh well typically, and while I enjoy LSD as it has similar but different effects, I still have to be in the right headspace ahead of time because I suffer from general anxiety when I’m 100% sober.

Don’t forget the banner said it was “Obligatory Women in Business Panel”

And wasn’t there written on the Women in Business banner “Sponsored reluctantly by News Corp.?”

Paul as Richard Spencer-lite was brilliant, especially with the throwaway punch-a-Nazi gag. Yes, Paul’s usually a sympathetic character, but yeah, it’s a good commentary on what kind of guys become MRA guys.

Boone seems like a much more together version of Jimmy: quick-witted, funny, but less narcissistic and a lot

There seemed to be a theme of comical miscommunication in this episode, like with Gretchen and Boone concerning his daughter. For some reason, I thought that Jimmy’s disgust and harsh refusal of Edgar was his narcissistic self somehow interpreting Edgar’s advances as romantic. A vague request for an “intimate”

quick question: uh, has anyone ever seen Paul Adelstein and Kyle Bornheimer in the same room together? why? oh, no reason...

I wish it had been 3 parts like last year. With 3 episodes they had time to enjoy the new dynamic before returning to the status quo. This just felt like “ok, lets fix this asap” which made the whole thing feel meaningless. And the splitting up of Peralta and Diaz made it worse. Maybe it should have been Peralta and a

I thought the “the secret was eating the evidence” was going to lead to a revelation for how the crooked cop hid her tracks for so long. Oddly enough, it being a cannibal joke was enjoyable

I think Chance means rightly convicted. Here it’s obviously not the case. Even if we think that the commissioner at the end of S1 who was apparently tied to the mafia was likely busted with Jake’s help, and that Hawkins will get busted at the end of this arc, those are the bigger, more obvious bad guys.

Once again the show hit hard on its recurring idea that nothing matters.

I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what I understand Michael’s understanding of humans to be. Other than the fact that he has watched all of Friends (and I believe started on The Golden Girls) for some general frame of reference, it seems like he has a “I took a weekend seminar on Human Behavior 101 and now I

But that’s always been his thing: complete paralysis over decisions. He’s been wiped, there’s been no growth for him to get how shitty that is and how it forks over other people and prevented him from being a good person (or at least a better Bad person deserving the Bad Place Plato et al have). Both women being great

The only thing that made me sad about her soulmate was he reminded me of Harris Wittels and it made me realize how awesome he would be in the role. With his history on Parks and Rec he would have had so much fun writing these gags. And Michael’s town square demon meetings are so much like the Parks town halls that I

From TV Guide:

Eleanor explicitly mentioned earlier in S1 that one of her fantasies is a hot mailman, possibly the name was mentioned too. She got the dope she asked for.

I would have to rewatch to be sure, but I believe Janet too Jason to see MICHAEL, who happened to be where Eleanor was. I’m not 100% on the timing of it, but I believe Janet spoke up to say that he (Jason) had a question for Michael.

I think Vicky actually likes Chidi. Nice bit where she dissed his ‘soul mate’ by just dropping her pizza on the table.

I really hope Vicky gets more screentime. She is so funny. Her desire to be involved in Chidi’s torture was so great.
