The last people to touch the Monkey Island IP is Telltale, and while they did a good job, they’ve since become a very different thing than what the series deserves. Fully scripted adventure games are not Monkey Island.

If they get the rhythm right it could be good I guess. I mean Crypt of the Necrodancer is a pretty deep game and it only uses the 4 arrow keys.

I’m very proud to say I bought nothing on Black Friday, apart from 2 bottles of Moët Chandon champagne for my girlfriend for getting a distinction in her MSC assignment.

So I am a huge fan of Conan (the Robert E Howard stories and the original movie), but I can’t stomach MMOs so I never touched Age Of Conan.

If there’s a reason it’s called Prey, it’s because the player is the Prey. Not the alien bounty criminal dudes. I think Arkane’s Prey looks amazing. A whizzy sci-fi Dishonored is good in my books.

It does have something to do with Sony, though. Demons and Bloodborne are co-developed by Sony’s Japan Studio, so those IPs are 100% owned and controlled by Sony. That’s why they are PS exclusives, and why FromSoft changed the series IP from Demons to Dark, so it could change publisher and release multiplatform.

I think we should have 60fps on all Souls titles, it completely changes the experience. Sony seems to have no interest in a Demons Souls remaster, and now no Bloodborne on PS4 Pro (for now) is another kick in the balls. At least Demons has smooth 30fps, I guess.
