I’m a huge Star Wars fan and I’m just not excited for this. It’s almost entirely down to Felicity Jones. She’s approaching Hayden Christensen levels of irritating in these trailers.

This game is great fun and I’m a big fan of Minor Key’s games in general. However, I’d say it’s the least stealthy of all their games so far. I really see it as a fast survival shooter, basically a cross between Left 4 Dead, Bioshock and Doom. Which is great.

The cynic in me is thinking “maybe they took a chunk of content out, and will release it in post pretending it’s formerly paid dlc”.

What I find really bizarre is that when pressed for a reason why they flatly refuse to make a classic Metroid or a new F-Zero, Nintendo’s line is basically “when we make a new product it has to innovate in some way”.

I would say that Princess Mononoke and Laputa Castle In The Sky are both excellent for young children, too. They both have some darker themes and moments that could be frightening, but that was all part of the magic of the films I watched when I was very young.

I think it’s also good that it has the backing of Nintendo this time - they’ve actually bothered to market the thing which means it should sell ok and give Dragon Quest the exposure it deserves in the West.
