Games packaged together are still multiple games, as far as I'm concerned.

Why does the price of 3 games make it count as one game? That makes no sense. It's definitely 3 games.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to choose games you've actually played? Like games that are actually released?

Agree 100%. Yeah it was a really well produced game, but a desert island game? Fuck that. Once was enough. Once was almost too much.

Monkey Island 2

Someone needs to puncture Kojima with a pin so his ego deflates a bit.

This is an amazing idea. Not least because I live in the UK and the ‘alternate ending’ is the real ending for me. Ash battling Deadites in an apocalyptic wasteland was a sweet idea that I feel like we should have had.

This is good news. I loved Harebrained’s other games, and was excited for this one. The coverage I’ve seen has put me off buying it, but with this mature and open-eared response to criticism, I’m hopeful that it can be shaped into a really good game.

Fascinating stuff. FOA is one of the games from my childhood that I’m most sentimentally attached to. I replay it about once a year (along with Monkey Island 2, Symphony of the Night and LTTP) and it holds up really well these days.

One reason that this needs to happen is so AVGN can do a 4th Bible Games video.

Syndicate is certainly pretty fun. Definitely one of the better AC games in recent years.

I’m guessing you aren’t as ridiculously sycophantic about this series than you were a week ago?

Ah nice, sounds good! Armoured Core would be nice, I’m kinda hoping for a King’s Field revival but that’s unlikely, those games are super niche and even if people bought them off the back of Souls, they’d probably complain that it’s not Souls. As you said, the 3rd person RPG is probably a new Souls type thing, but I’m

Great interview Patrick.

You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter.

It’s true that some weigh more heavily on the CPU. The ultimate example is Dwarf Fortress, a game with no graphics, but that is so incredibly complex it requires a pretty powerful processor to handle its systems.

Props for getting Symphony Of The Night on there. After the recent demo of Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night, I’m replaying SOTN. That game is always in my top 10 games ever, but every time I go back to it it’s like I’ve forgotten just how good it is. As close to a flawless game as there can be.

Damn, I would totally have mained Fighting Literary Master.

Much like Dishonored, the 2 story DLCs are better than the main campaign. Overall I think it’s a pretty sweet game, but the Burial At Sea stuff was and is incredible, and it caps off the series really nicely.

It’s also worth mentioning that as well as being the copyright holders (and developers of System Shock Enhanced Edition), they have licensed the IP out to Otherside Entertainment (a studio of ex-Looking Glass people who are currently making Underworld Ascendant) to develop System Shock 3.
