Sorry, but it sounds like using a firearm is not acceptable. When a grizzly is getting ready to attack, that is definite grounds for self defense with such firearm.

Working with Rambus, GM, etc.? Getting Government contracts? Yep, he's not much for competence. I'd say he has little to save face now.

@vajenmr: I like the sound of that!

@Che-poodle: I thought the Internet knew that Morgan Freeman is God. Well, Jesus could be a zombie as well...

@rockboy04: *3 Days later* Reports show that Morgan Freeman is in fact still alive.

Looks like the Magratheans wanted to do some some renovating while the galactic economy is still recovering.

You guys down below have it all wrong. This must be the source of the Formics. China better hope Mazer Rackham can appear before it's too late...

Once again, only the idiots in the Executive Branch can come up with this. It'll be similar to the way John Koller wanted to close the OtherOS feature the ps3 'had' until guys like fail0verflow figure out the flaws to overcome the entire security system.

@Francostine: I dunno, I think I'd rather cut the costs and just build the thing myself, haha.

I think I saw one of these bad boys at the Microsoft Store in Bellevue... that's the case that a 360 should never RRoD in...

@Ninja_peach: I thought it was from someone recording them off of an HD channel...

@bustedchain: Oh yeah, one of these days I'll finally CFW my PS2 slim, although it's such a pain in the ass to do while I don't have a lot of time to do it. Ah well, when I have the time / dedication, I'll do it.

@YourSaltyPinkDeathNuts: A lot of 3rd party studios will get between 7-12 Gigs, regardless of its release on PS3 or 360 (mind the data compression on 360 releases,) but if you've got numbers for download times on titles like Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, let me know.

@SuddenImpact: You're referring to an HDD loader from PS Freedom, right?

@bustedchain: Hey, back in '95, I thought a 2 gig 3.5" HDD drive was BIG. I know that things will continue to get larger, I'm just saying that piracy on the ps3 is in a different ball park compared to pirating on the 360.

@bustedchain: Thanks, it looks like it's really thick for a 2.5" drive, then again, it probably needs to to be a bit bigger than most. One guy said he had to take his ps3 apart to get it in completely; you never know about the various SKUs on 'em.

@YourSaltyPinkDeathNuts: Yes, there was a HDD loader on PS Freedom, but the fact of downloading a game ISO for 8 hours , then transferring it from one HDD to another before installing it is still not as practical as pirating the game for PC or another system.

@greatsage10001: This is definitely the reply I was waiting for; you're very spot-on with the whole issue of piracy on the ps3. It's a LOT of work to deal with all in order for trackers to notice how much data you've downloaded lately.
