@scingram: First rule of Fight Club, dear sir. ;)

@SuddenImpact: Did you read the very last sentence? If you can find better prices, send me some links!

@Zom-B: Heh, I'm guessing that's why Activision is probably sweating over this? XD

@bustedchain: Indeed, the future promises faster downloads, cheaper hardware (as it becomes obsolete,) and so on. However, 20 gigs on a torrent is definitely a long process, and I'm on a 25 Mb. down / 4 Mb. up connection. I doubt that drives and discs will radically drop in price soon, though.

@geowrian: 40 minutes to install EACH GAME is simply not worth it for me, and definitely isn't worth it for the average person that even hates waiting on loading screens longer than 30 seconds, let alone MGS4 game data installs.

@garycecs: Show me the prices, show me the prices! (You had me at hello... *tear* :P )

@Cratilo: I've seen torrents of ps3 games before (my original post says enough about what I think about piracy,) but beforehand, it cost even MORE time and money to get an ISO of C0D4 or whatever.

@c1890064: Show me this $100 terabyte drive; Seagate or WD hard drives only!

@Kazerai: Read the third section.

So many people just don't see the cost behind pirating on the ps3; going the route of burning an image of a game onto a BD disc, or onto an external drive all in order to install it on the hard drive, probably costs more than going out and buying a release title!

@jjw3k: You're forgetting the cost:

@reapur: Exactly; my Killzone 2 disc (that I purchased DAY 1 OF ITS RELEASE [2/26/09] ) has always had an issue with the background music on the campaign section on Visari Highway. If I could install the game onto my hard drive, it's possible that the issue would go away.

I predicted it when they announced the removal of the OtherOS functionality: a team would work feverishly on gaining access to the hypervisor. It's in these guys' genes to access this kind of stuff.

Wind sculptures, anyone?

Well, I've got a coworker who just had a birthday a couple of days ago, and she didn't have the best day having to work then, so a gift card to Starbucks ain't a bad way to cheer her up, is it?

Hopefully this won't be wasted on crap like MW2.

Hopefully this leads the way towards a viable solution for an Ansible...

Hmm, the color is off. It does use that architecture, but it doesn't look that neat; whoever noted HDR earlier, they're right.

@ghost_freak2: Sorry, but the guy's not senile yet. Most story writers in Hollywood are HORRIBLE. Goddamn, you know that when games like Mass Effect, Uncharted 1&2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and quite a few other games have a better storylines, the movie industry is doing things half-assed.
