Let's see who has gotten the best deal on open box equipment.

I'm willing to try new things... Now to get into underwater basket weaving!

Remember, Youtube- if you yank more than three times, you're playing with it.

Here's a prank for you guys, and a pretty easy one at that- take a piece of Scotch tape about 1/4" long from the roll, and stick half of it into a USB plug for the victim's device of your choice (covering the data and power pins,) then apply the remainder of the tape to the bottom of the USB plug.

No! If you have to share something that sensitive, it needs to be put somewhere that can only be accessed by the owner. They should store it where it can be found again obviously, but it can't be too obvious.

I used to recommend AVG until about two years ago, when I found quite a few rogue antivirus malware manage to slip by it. I agree with going the Avast / MSE free route, or Kaspersky for the paid route.

Nope, you go that right, and now that's fixed. My SSN's safe... for now.

Before we delve into hyperbole, obviously there's not only cost in parts, but in labor and time. Building your own PC is far from being something that would cause someone to lose their sanity, unless they don't have the hand for hardware / ordering parts / following instructions. I should say that I can apply my IT

Really?? You bought a desktop? You're on Lifehacker and you didn't bother to search its articles to build your own? Just saying that you probably would have either saved money or get more for it by not going the manufacturer and middleman route.

It's a trust / liability thing, and it can go either way. I would say that it's best to let the buyer test drive it, but crap can hit the fan if the potential buyer ends up causing a traffic violation, or worse by getting into a wreck.

Agreed. A vehicle needs to be continuously maintained, whether or not it's being driven. My grandparents had a Lincoln Town Car sit for at least six years with little cleaning done to the interior, and when it was finally 'brought back to the streets,' anyone can notice the musty smell after the years of neglect.

+9001 Internets to ya today!

Bullshit. That is completely subjective, and I really think it's counter-ergonomical to have an asymmetric controller.

I think you have created the most rational thread on here, yet no one has responded- I'm not sure whether that means other rational thinkers haven't felt the urge to comment back, or people have to complain about things to trigger people to complain about them.

That's completely subjective, dude. Besides, how do you know it's light? Have you picked up the DS4 yet? Wait 'till final release before making full judgment.

Dude- you know there were games that could be played on the PSP via the PS3's Remote Play functionality, right? Your ignorance is very disturbing- PixelJunk Monsters is the biggest example of this, all of which was made possible four/five years ago.

Ha, well played. To each their own, but there's a lot of exclusives I just can't imagine someone WOULDN'T have some sort of interest in.

Can I take your PS3, then? I want to play Starhawk again so badly! Oh, and Killzone 2 and 3, and Uncharted 1, 2, and 3, and inFamous 1 and 2, and Resistance 2 (and I have yet to play 3,) and the God of War games, and Motorstorm: Apocalypse (maybe even Pacific Rift again,) and I know I'm missing some other games.

Ease of use, and the fact that you'd be missing out on the gaming love that SCE's studios offer.

Let's not forget that the PS2 was the first system to implement backwards compatibility CORRECTLY- in Atari's case, their 5200 and 7800 series sucked ass. Sega's Master System also sucked ass, so at least with PS1 and 2, you had plenty of games to run through!
