Cricket is the reason why the rest of the Galaxy hates us. I know every civilization has a residual image of the Krikkit Wars, but the whole thing with the ball hitting the Wikkit gate is particularly offensive.

@Maverick128: I think their biggest issue is that they have been unable to find a distraction. Maybe they need to catch a glimpse of either good-looking legs, an explosion going off from a good ways away, or even a travel bag they thought they lost at the Athens airport.

A much more effective solution would be to create a Someone Else's Problem field and be done with it. If you were to paint, say the megamountain Magramal pink, and set up an SEP field on it somewhere, people would walk past the mountain, around it, even over it, and simply never notice that it was there.
