Tesla has already done this in some locations, mainly in the middle of nowhere.  I agree its a great idea and one that needs to be more widespread/available for all EV’s.

Agreed 100%. Even if you spend another $1k having your mechanic take it apart and fix it, you come out ahead.

I am all in, why not? Run a few tests on it, throw a few parts at it, if it works you win, if it doesn’t a guy like me who has never owned one learns to speak Mercedes, and it gets sold for around what I bought it for, or parted out

But he didn’t buy from the dealership, remember? He bought it privately from the literal conman that worked there. There’s not a universe where I trust a guy willing to sell his private car like that.

Dude.  You’re blowing my mind with this reality-warping option.

If they are unwilling to do that they could potentially give him a car worth $10,000 and it would also be satisfactory. Perhaps a certain 2016 Mazda CX-5.

Reminds me about the questioning for jury duty when I was part of the selected pool. Lawyer asked me if I could render a guilty verdict. Me: “Well there’s the law and then there’s justice. I would do what’s right.”

Step 1- Buy this hearse for $9000

I wouldn't be caught dead in one!

Wait wait, why in the hell would you keep that rusty hulk of an FC you have and part out the one that is actually made of non-oxidized metal? Take the VIN off your rust bucket, put it on the one that’s in WAY better shape, junk the rusty shell and call it a day.

“Worst case, I sell some of the parts and keep some for my FC-170.”
Dude. I know we don’t know how far along you are on the FC-170, but we are begged to ask, “Why not start with this one, instead, and junk the thing that was already mostly junk?”

So the Jeep has forward control, and David has no control.

your life is insane and i’m here for it

That’s a lot of multi-tasking.

Without a doubt, this is the most versatile machine I have ever seen.

882Wh is the battery capacity. this is a convenient use for small appliances and better than nothing but i would not consider this “replacing a generator”

I can answer this question: no. It cannot.

I’ve included all of the charge time estimates provided by EcoFlow. The A/C charge time appears to be accurate, but I haven’t gotten the chance to charge it through alternative methods just yet.
