Oh man, I feel your pain. Back when I was a younger sprog someone broke into my flat and stole ALL my albums (LPs), at least 250 of them. Stealing a guy’s music is right up there with having sex with his girlfriend while they are “on a break”. Bad ju-ju
No thanks. My missus just gave me a blowjob. I’m good.
Did you get the bag of dog’s dicks I sent you for Christmas sweetie? Just thought you’d like something to suck on other than your own.
You think my comment was rage ?? Poor little blossom you are. Nope, just not a fan of poor journalism from people who are being paid to write for a living. (ps) Did you get the bag of dicks I sent you for Christmas ?
Smugasshole would be a better name for you. Just sayin.
He said best and that is a superlative and not a comparative but I absolutely agree the system, and preferably valve amps but that system is way beyond my pay grade unless I win the Brazilian national lottery on new years eve (US$84 million). My setup is simple but sweet, all vintage. I have an old dedicated laptop…
Or that. Depends on your source platform but the theory is the same. ;-) Side note: I actually used to work for Apple Australia as a corporate analyst and a technical services manager back in the day 1989-92 after a dozen years as a system engineer with Wang Labs and I loved Apple stuff and was a real fanboy. Moved to…
I agree with most of that but I’ve spent a crapload of time in recording studios (as a vocalist) and my home system is what is referred to as audiophile quality. Without bragging, I have what is called “perfect pitch”. I initially started using FLAC on my home system years ago when it was still unknown and I was…
What’s your problem Doris ? And no I don’t. I’m old school. At 57, I love the old school charm of a blunt ;-)
No more smart mouth or you will be needing Endo ;-)
Oh yea, back in 1988 perhaps.
One word: FLAC
Good for you Bob but where I live (Brazil) the roads are crap. Why tolerate a skipping CD every time you hit a bump. CDs in car players are like dinosaurs, nice to look at but not practical to have. There are easier ways and FLAC is the easiest.
But you don’t need the physical media. Each ripped CD appears as a folder on my head unit. Flick through to the next song OR the next folder (album). Easy as peeing in bed.
Smile when you say that partner ;-)
This article is absolute and total rubbish. There is no reason that a car music system needs to have even one moving part. I ripped all my CDs to FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) at the highest setting, which is the same quality as a CD, and I use a Kenwood head unit that plays FLAC files. I use a 32 gig sd card which…
I can already see David in 30 years or so. Gather close around me and come hear my tale kiddies, but not before you sleep lest you have nightmares.
