People think hot hatches are a problem? I have driven my FoST through NYC, in stop and go for years. Clutch and all. It’s very workable.

Matrix XRS. With the 2ZZGE engine.

I use a cupcake pan for bolts/screws on any complicated project. Big enough to handle most things, keeps ‘em in order

That’s what I was thinking too. It’s a solid, woods tested, not too big option.

So they traded Raph for Bob. They won.

Range is still low for me, but this sounds like the EV I always hoped someone would make: something designed to leverage the advantages of electric in a fun way. Basically, the CR-Z we never got.

What if I told you that you could shave 20 pounds off the center of gravity for the car for nothing?

Well, yeah but it’s ICE or  electric, either way.

Solid state batteries, yeah. As for 400 miles/charge and/or tank of gas: it’s a week’s commuting. I don’t so much care about efficiency as how often I have to go out of my way to fill it up. (I care, but I care more about frequency.)

My major concern is ‘able to get out of its own way’ at a freeway onramp.  115 is fine for a top end, but good acceleration saves lives.

WRX is a little short on horsepower, but it matches the rest of the stats, and HP is cheap for EVs.

My rule of thumb for my ‘ideal’ EV is a rule of 4s. 400 HP, 4WD, 400 mile range, 40 cubic feet of storage, 40 meters to stop from 60, too.

One of the Audis was going to be a neighbor’s. I kinda wonder about the replacement problems she’ll have.

Nissan Versa. Nissan Versa.

I mean yeah but it wouldn’t be in the ad of some people didn’t make drivers so it.

As I understand it, that’s true but there’s ‘stuff’ the driver has to do  as far as securing and other stuff. I dunno. I just hear gripes but they’re not all that specific.

Not to mention all the loading and unloading work truckers do.

Finally, a worthy successor to Whatis. (Matrix XRS, got it up to around 220 hp)

(disagrees in Miata and WRX)

Well, yes, sequelitis. But I is worth watching.
