It’s nice when one of my children gets respect.

For the Hot Hatch segment:

On the other hand, I was walking down the road, back in the 80s, saw a Yugo come to a stop at a stoplight. When the light changed, it took off, leaving its entire exhaust system behind.

It gave you wiiiiiings.

The first Hot Hatch. The Chevy Nomad.

Any classic Beetle. They’re still out there, doing their job, making everyone’s day just a little better when they see it.

A really nice guy and true gentleman, too, as well as a considerate, if very good, racer.

Besides what everyone else has pointed out, Unity is mostly famous for crashing constantly while devwork is going on. Bad choice.

Exactly. And Pow-pow-power makes it go!

I got two, both Dodge.

I mean yes, they’re doing GotG, but when the game’s good, that’s... basically my table. Wisecracks, stupid plans, the Bard making stupider plans that actually work somehow, and critfails at the worst possible time. Plus a rogue rogue named Red, whose goal in life is to make everything explode dramatically.

Yeeep. We’re talking 74 Beetle and 911, 80? Prelude. I remember all sorts of cramming issues. These days, man, it’s heaven.

I dunno, I grew up in a ‘very uncomfortable place’ and when the Bug retired, there was a Prelude and a 911. Trust me, it has not gotten harder to baby.

Well, uhm. If you divide number of great cars by number of different models made, can you beat Tesla? None of them are complete stinkers yet, and the Roadster is a legend and the S as much so. The 3 is pretty good, the Y is... adequate at what it does but it is a first.

‘74 Porscha 911 SC, with a 935 engine in it. Note: You _can_ outrun the radio. And the flying bears. By accident.

How did you get a photo of my ‘86 Topaz?

Laws about calibration and rolling back, mostly. If you can roll your own, no reason you can’t make it lie. Is certification needed? And so on.

This... doesn’t look legal at all. Odometers, speedometers alone.

They’re the same picture!

People think hot hatches are a problem? I have driven my FoST through NYC, in stop and go for years. Clutch and all. It’s very workable.
