I feel like I need to express my opinion on this, today.

Who played the giant hedgehog?

Absolute agreement. But I have to say they sure do make things easier, especially with the sight line of modern cars.

Well, I do drive my 6 speed in 4th a lot when I need pep.

If it helps, the Focus ST is a lot faster than the 0-60 suggests: it needs three shifts to reach 60, not the 2 of most other cars, so there’s a bit of slack there that isn’t apparent when it’s actually in motion.
