Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely consider that option. I'm just reluctant to go for open box stuff. While I know most open box stuff is perfectly fine, just knowing that scratch was there, even if it didn't affect anything, would probably bug me.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I am not a Costco member nor is there one within a reasonable driving distance from me (I'm in Dayton, OH...nearest is 45 min away in Cincinnati) so unfortunately that's not really much of an option.

Anyone have any experience with the budget TV brands (Vizio, Westinghouse, etc.)? I'm in the market for a 32" for my bedroom for mostly gaming. I was also leaning towards going with LED since I'm renting and may be moving soon, so portability is key.

I'm contract-free on a T-Mo Nexus One right now, but given the lackluster coverage outside metro areas and phone selection, Verizon began win me over.
