Dearest Nintendo,

When 2.0 launches, they are apparently going to run a second free trial period which will coincide with the PS3 open beta.

Though it doesn't use Source Filmmaker, I always enjoyed this one. A little drama, a little comedy. Very cinematic, without the tool's help.

While I'm not really defending the driver, if the cyclist had enough room (and the intention) to lane-split and continue on though traffic anyway, why make such a big deal about the car moving into your lane? Granted, I've never been in the situation of the driver nor the cyclist, so I don't know how I'd react in the

Regarding baked-in deterrents, I'm curious, how do they determine if you are running a pirated vs. a non-pirated version? Surely I'm missing something. Seems to me if there was a surefire way to figure out what version you are running, there wouldn't be a need for DRM in the first place.

Yeah after the report I started to scroll down to read comments and didn't notice the video was still playing. Nearly jumped out of my chair when she screamed.

Yeah. Hell no.

And where is that, exactly? No offense, but I am going to add it to my list of places to stay the hell away from.

While I agree with the others that this point is moot after a simple setting change, I still agree with Mat in that I shouldn't have to do anything. It seems most companies nowadays are shifting towards the "opt-out" culture instead of "opt-in", with Google being one of the worst offenders.

Anyone have some recommended tutorials on how to do basic photoshopping? I would like to enter one of these days, but seriously have no clue how to start. I'm overwhelmed by the number of controls in image editors...

Close. That column of yellow blocks should be a stick of butter.

See my other response. That 25th anniversary collection was half-assed. Clearly they weren't trying very hard at all. You'd think Mario, the character that saved Nintendo and arguably, the entire video games industry, would have a richer history than a 10-page pamphlet would have you believe.

I agree with you on the Galaxy 2/Skyward Sword parallel and Metroid. It has always been the odd (wo)man out of the big Nintendo franchises. Never really ignored, but never showcased either.

Let's play "What's Wrong with this Picture"! One guess at a time. First person to repeat something loses.

Hey Nintendo, where was this kind of stuff for Mario's 25th? Hmm?! Between this and the Zelda Symphony tour, you'd think that Zelda, not Mario, was Nintendo's mascot. Good to see at least one of them gets a proper anniversary celebration.

Dammit Netflix! Why?

I will definitely preorder direct from Nintendo, 1.) to show support and appreciation for them finally coming to their senses, and 2.) because I feel dirty supporting a retail exclusive, GameStop especially. (Full disclosure: I preordered the Skyward Sword bundle from them because they were the only one's who had it
