Something I'm not really finding an answer to in all the impressions I'm reading is why wasn't the functionality of the Wii U not done with a Wii/DS combination?

The music brought back a flood of memories for an old GameCube tech demo, "Rebirth". I remember replaying this video over and over again when I first saw it, and I'm still holding out for them to make it a full game. Get on it Nintendo!

Actually I'm getting more of a "Rebirth" vibe. It was an awesome GameCube tech demo that I'm still hoping and praying gets made into a full game.

"But the thing about this project that makes me most happy is the passion, joy and satisfaction I felt while working on it with two guys who I like building stuff with. And over the long haul, those feelings far outweigh any collection of numbers amassed on a stats page."

In my mind, a digital protest would be more akin to launching a website in support for the cause or posting numerous posts on Twitter/Facebook/etc. expressing a boycott of services and

On one hand, I'm thinking this is a sign of just how badly Hollywood has degraded over the years. They've been resurrecting dead franchises for their 'ideas', and apparently now looking towards dead actors for talent. Not a good sign.

What's the goofy hat in #11? I can't tell if its supposed to be functional or just part of a ridiculous "fashion of the future" prediction.
