I get your point but many of those lists are linked to religion which can be oppressive if one is not a member of said religion. Also, I will never be able to Google any ex-boyfriend from Portugal because any given name has two million hits for precisely this reason. Carlos, I tried.

Thank you. There’s worse things happening right now than not having a baby but this specific article is about not having a baby. People can be doing everything right (social distancing, not hoarding, etc) and still be upset they can’t have a baby because of this

I understand the frustration of your wants and plans being put on hold for something so far out of everyone’s control. this is the most extreme large scale thing that’s every happened in our lifetimes. Wow the comments on this article are so very critical towards women who want to have a baby. Let me put a virtual face to this issue: I’m one of those people who had their fertility plans put on indefinite hold.

What a lot of people don’t understand about IVF is that by far the greatest emotional toll comes from waiting, not from the shots or the procedures or anything else. These things take time.
