Reliability data is out there and frankly not that hard to find. Obviously this only works if you buy a reliable vehicle, which is why I said as much.

Only if you must have a new/new to you car every couple of years. Otherwise, you can own a car for much longer and with much lower overall cost. That $300-$700/mo payment adds up real quick compared to maintenance and repairs on a reliable vehicle. We’ve saved thousands by buying new or 2-3 years old (depending on the

You misread my comment or I should been more clear. My point was to the poster EMF15Q who is obviously bitter about the wealth of the individual involved in this tragic loss... simply because someone has means does not mean they should ignore a loss due to negligence

This needs more stars

people are/can be so bitter over money. there is more to life...

I too own a 2005 Acura. I expect to get many more years out of it. Its a TL 6mt, and I love it.

There is cheap, and there is time foolish. I believe this may be the latter. Sometimes a bit more money is well worth the time.
