They’ll do “manipulating body’s mass, size and shape” when they do the Fantastic Four movie. I’m sure part of the adaptation here - in addition to avoiding the Terrigenesis bomb origins of the comics - is to differentiate Ms. Marvel from Mr. Fantastic.

These movies make billions of dollars.  They're not watched by the "comic book crowd" any more than Titanic was watched by the James Cameron crowd

Or, you could just try not coming into the comments section of a Marvel movie and posting about it since you supposedly dislike them so much.

Sorry, but I’m not here as a representative of the comic book crowd, but as a representative of the “we don’t need every detail of every thing you don’t like” crowd. Adjust your priors accordingly.

I like how Murray is handling this, and I think it’s instructive on how people ought to react when a situation like this occurs. But overall, I think it would be in everybody’s best interest if cishet white dudes stopped trying to be hilarious at every opportunity they see, even if they are registered clowns.
