After all that came out (no pun) last year, and other issues over the years, I do think she gets what she deserves (and she has millions in the bank, a bunch of property and what not - she’ll be fine).

“I’m tired of these mother fucking saws on this motherfucking plane!” ~ Samuel L Jackson, Saws on a Plane

No woman has ever gone on a date with this incel.

Too soon.

Tom Cruise cares. He started the Black Thetans Matter program and everything!

I was under the impression that it wasn’t a medical experiment, but that he already had the symbiote, and it was averting his execution by lethal injection (thus the crowd of sad people watching). You see his blood go UP the tube to stop the injection while the green stuff is supposed to be going in.

VENOM was silly fun, and this looks like it’s more of the same but maybe a bit more aware of what it is...?

I said this on iO9, but as a Nineties Teen(tm), I was smack-dab in the middle of the target market for VENOM: LETHAL PROTECTORRRR and MAXIMUM CARNAGGGGE the MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENNNNNCE

Your career should end if people that would be in your workplace feel unsafe around you and feel like you are a danger to others, or merely that you are a predatory sex-pest creep. In the lives of normal people your career can be ended because your boss doesn’t like your shoes, for some reason somebody who makes

all white male feminists are lying sacks of shit...” That seems a bit much donchathink?

Good on him, glad Seth isn’t dancing around the subject. James feels like a capsule of a certain type of predator from the 2000s. Him, John Mayer, Dane Cook, Chris Delia, all similar creepy white man vibes who think they are progressive.

Diagnosed aspie here. It reminds me of when Kevin Spacey tacitly excused his perversion by coming out as gay. Thankfully that happened after gay people were mostly accepted by society.

He doesn’t need his Asperger’s to explain away anything. By now, the entire point of America is that if you have enough money, you don’t have to explain away anything. You just proceed, over and over and over again.

I never said it was a good look, it was my honest reaction when I saw the clip, and I was clear why I had that response. To suggest my feeling was purely due to him publicly acknowledging his condition is misrepresentation.

When Kevin Spacey was outed as a sex pest, the LGBTQ community wasn’t happy he issued a statement trying to leverage his coming out to garner sympathy.

I get the impression he used his Asperger’s announcement more as a shield than as an attempt to shed light.

Why do I get the feeling it’s self-diagnosed “people don’t get me, I must be autistic” that people use when they don’t want to admit they’re just an arsehole who no one likes because they’re an arsehole.

Some people or their fans use it as an excuse for that person’s shitty behavior. Him being an asshole is entirely separate from this and he should still receive the same consequences as before.

Lecturing someone about how they feel about the potential complicated public fallout of that revelation is not the good look you think it is.

I’m on the spectrum myself and got the same feeling. At best it could explain how he goes about some things, but certainly not the why. Neurodiversity is cool and we certainly shouldn’t try to all act in the same way (much as society may try to pressure us all) but we can still be decent human beings.
