Not really a hot take: this show blows now, and has for at least 18 years. Someone just starting college has never seen a good Simpsons episode.

I remember the Oscars where that happened. Richard Gere was the one standing up leading a chorus of boos. I wonder how he feels as embarrassed about that as he should?
