Hell, or a mixed load of long-range AA missiles and cruise missiles.

Pacific pivot anyone?

I agree with most of that, but am skeptical about Chinese claims on engine power, due to their track record of building unreliable incredibly thirsty ones for both military and civil aircraft use, and their fixation on having bigger numbers than others about everything all the time when it comes to weapons

That would be very unfortunate for the Muslim community at large in the U.S., I doubt that would happen.

Glocks will shoot better than most of their operators. I own and love many handguns, including my beloved 1911’s, but I must laugh at your assertion that the Glocks are inaccurate.

Full disclosure- I hate how they feel too, so I don’t own a Glock either.

What a fantastic little machine, NP today, tomorrow and yesterday

As a boy I always wanted an A-4. Nothing has changed. I still dont’ make enough money....

The only way they (LEO) care is if you report it while they are harassing you, in traffic, and tell them you are being threatened.

Too late now, but I agree with some of the other commentators, going where you intend to go or home is the worst decision when someone road rages. No need to be afraid if they don’t go ape

Of a sort. My first rifle, a gift from a grandfather, was a No.4 built in 1944 when I was about 12. Said that every man should have a rifle to provide and protect.
Started collecting them and British pattern World War stuff in my teens. Now I live in foreign climes for work, so they sit in a garage and some safes

Oh, there are plenty who will disagree, but thanks!

I could probably outfit my own Mumbai police squad. Oh, the money we waste on these things...

Only have 2 canteens though.in 1937 pattern, so someone would be thirsty by lunch.

You hit it on the head all the way around.

Wrong warlord had duty that day. Or someone forgot the box of Rolexes at Sigonella.

Still a slick action. I always liked it an the Enfields. The Krag isn’t as fast as an Enfield, but still.

Look calm but alert. Walk with a purpose. Head on a swivel. Be aware of surroundings. Square yourself to those who approach in your field of view. Make eye contact. Verbally greet those you know and if you don’t -still greet them and acknowledge their presence if they come too close. Have upright posture. Know where

Confidence is always either alarming or comforting

And I have many comrades with the same pedigree that do call themselves killers on occasion. We used to use “kill” as an affirmative or approval or motivator, were conditioned from the first day of training, actually.

I have no idea whether or not you served, but get off the high horse. I read that as pretty authentic

Oh, they did more than that, I assure you. That last convoy the old boy traveled in wasn’t stopped by fairy dust falling from the sky.

You got it.

“Fat guy in a tiny van: the Chinese kei van”

If I manage it, hell yes, I know the Mrs would want no part of it.

Right now though, still stuck in Africa working for the man.

I hope to roll back to Asia here at some point, but it isn’t in the cards yet.

My wife always thought I was nuts, but I have wanted to do it in one of those little “breadvan” Chinese knock-offs of Suzuki Carrys since I lived there almost 10 years ago now.

I know they make them in India too, but I’d genuinely want to start from Dalian or Beijing.

EDIT: I really like this picture, but it isn’t

Beijing to Mumbai.
