Actually, driving around Houston, people are aggressive and wave their arms but no one has flashed weapons at me yet.

I suspect it is because EVERYONE is packing and to do so would almost certainly provide KHOU’s lead for the evening.

This a hundred times, no one thinks about impacting your own bike, until it rides you down the shoulder at 30 MPH or so.....That was fun.

About 10 years ago, I was sitting at a 4 way stop, 6 lanes one way, 4 lanes crossing, both have turn lanes. Kawasaki ZX-10 (it was Kawi green) bike goes to take off when the light turns green hits a pothole as he is crossing in front of the 4 lanes I am waiting in the left turn lane at, jerks the throttle and wheelies

Yeah, but they fixed it for the owners without a hassle probably. I think they’re more focused on brand building

A VFR basically with more performance!!!?!?!

THIS IS GREAT! THIS IS TERRIBLE!

If this pans out and gets sprinkled with executive fairy dust I guess I will have to see if my marriage can survive this.

I am 40 lbs heavier than you, started on a 1976 CB550 with about 40 horsepower. Damn thing weighed like 450 lbs too.

I loved it, but if I had to do it again, I would prioritize getting good brakes and tires over “power”. Your plan is fine, but for a better all-around ride that you will keep around I suggest a mild

A basic but OK setup:

This would be a toss-up for me out there. Out in Qinghai, Xinjiang or Xizang, go Toyota with a Land Cruiser/ Prado, or Great Wall/Haval?

I bet parts are easier to find for the Great Wall out there.

Every time I go back they’re a bit better in the big cities.

The guys in the countryside are still frightening.

It is, a particularly well built copy, truthfully. I’d take a Lexus.

Land Cruiser or LX570....380 HP 400 ft lbs, more function than style, yes, but practically only scheduled service for the first 150K at least and it is still luxurious. Hell, mine has 120K on it, 20K or so of that in Africa in the past year, only thing I have fixed is my lunch on the tailgate. My buddy who bought a LR

That is assuming that the wrap isn’t covering up something cosmetic....

No one ever learns that they never make what they put into a car back on the sale when you go mod-happy.

Screw monkeys in SE Asia. They are not cute, they have serious personalities and conduct- most of which revolve around ruining human things.

They make it. Alpinestars is about the best

Probably follow the V60 direction and put CC after it.

It was impressive up until it nearly killed him

Typical of MI bikes below 2K, either OK and cleanish and someone just doesn’t check to see if the ignition switch works or not, or a hodge-podge of stuff that lopes along OK, but is frightening. Long winters leads to tinkering.

Had a co-worker in Grand Rapids that bought a hodge-podge, headlight went out. Being of the

A Buick Grand National? Yes. Anything else from this era of GM cars? Pound Sand, Sir.

Thanks, now everyone in my office knows I am not working
