Interesting, one of the better posts

I don’t get the loons decrying disaster here. Here is PPE, literally, orange and in the picture. Is there some regulation that you have to be suited up like a HazMat tech to fix a saw?

Yeah, he has PPE, he is just working the saw without sweating to death.

On the internet everyone wants to be a Drill Instructor.

I know they still sell these, but who buys a 2 wheel ATV? Seems like a serious compromise on payload for a high entry price. The Yamaha TW200 makes more sense, it is road worthy and quicker, albeit 1 wheel drive.

WTH happened here? Chipmunks?

Just spent time in Houston for the first time in years. Man, I forgot how much gun-play happens in town.

This is the (b)million dollar question in the wake of the VW disclosure, isn’t it?

A “cheap” aftermarket pulley trick unlocks more spin from the supercharger, it is pretty common to modify this way for this model and probably the reason for the discrepancy.

This is a car only to buy if you can shell out on short notice or have another car. Most of the time I am all about the value in used luxury cars, but those with a reputation for lots of maintenance, coupled with the supercharger as an added complication should give one pause. This one looks in superb shape, and the

For 2: The look? Yes. But, only if you never crash, or aren’t that attached to the skin on your thighs, shins or any other uncovered zone in an offing. My Honda rode me for a ways down the road in my big off when the truck tried to kill me, the old “Only worry about your hands, arms and butt” line only applies if that

After looking, it appears that the price has gone up on Hoods since I ordered mine, depressingly, these things aren’t that stratospheric I guess.

I had a similar issue, ordered Hoods. I will not mention them again in this post as I already did after I got gobsmacked at the price of the Alpinestars, but you should look into it. They look fine, but are a little heavy in some people’s opinion. I don’t mind them- especially after they saved my ass, literally.

Sweet christ, for blue jeans with some kevlar? To hell with that, my Hood jeans have stood up in a crash, and are half the price of that with full aramid (kevlar) in the whole seat and leg.

I don’t think you understand the logistics of military stationing. You can only deploy a fraction, they aren’t racecars, they are aircraft, that need to have people in the pipeline being trained, some jets having major overhaul being done, and others on domestic deployment for homeland protection. This is why they

Lol. Holy hell. The battery bit reminds me of living in CA, when I had to have a very bad tempered, high volume conversation with my neighbor to get him to stop being a human raccoon in my trash, and lecturing me about what he found. Also caused me to shred everything that could be shredded and stop separately bagging

I see I may have been mislead on the combustible nature of the aluminum. Truthfully, and regrettably, we’re only going to find out when the next shooting war starts. In my estimation the track record isn’t stellar and strange things happen- that aren’t “supposed” to happen- in combat or the wrong accident conditions

You’re absolutely correct that POTUS can authorize a normally restricted asset for a VVIP, even non-HOS ones. I add, however, that despite your personal feelings on the matter of religion and politics for the same reason that the Secret Service and other agencies will be swarming all over to make sure that his trip is

Well, yes and no. Remember, he is a visiting Head of State as well.

Most countries don’t bring their own transportation assets when they do State visits usually. They aren’t as crazy as the U.S. about things like equipment and can’t land 10 C-17’s for a 2 day visit. It is pretty common for all transportation

Yes, it is, and even if it doesn’t burst into flames it has a history of hindering damage control given the wrong conditions. USS Belknap pictured after collision with USS JFK in 1975.

They look the part though, and that part is mid-20th century British motorcycling in the modern age. If that’s what you’re out for, that’s great. A friend of mine talks about a tour he took in India on a Enfield- he swamped it in a stream, they just drained the water, replaced the oil and off it went. I remember a
